Chris Knackstedt, MBA, CPA

CEO

Worked for 25 years in the the healthcare industry and has served in senior executive positions in some of the nations top integrated health systems and insurance plans including as CEO, President and CFO. Mr. Knackstedt holds his MBA and is also a CPA. For the past four years, Mr. Knackstedt has worked extensively with Ms. Goldin in launching and growing ValueIQ, LLC, a boutique consulting firm serving health plans and some of the nations top integrated health systems in their transition from from fee-for-service payment arrangements to value-based payment arrangements. Mr. Knackstedt is a founder of Tellus Wellness.

Donna A Goldin

President

Worked for 30 years in the health insurance industry as President, COO, and other senior executive roles. Although not a practicing actuary, Ms. Goldin is an actuary by training and has deep expertise in operating complex healthcare organizations, analytics, and technology. For the past four years, Ms. Goldin has worked extensively with Mr. Knackstedt in launching and growing ValueIQ, LLC, a boutique consulting firm serving health plans and some of the nations top integrated health systems in their transition from fee-for-service payment arrangements to value-based arrangements. Ms. Goldin is a founder of Tellus Wellness.

Kyle Kuczun

CTO & CPO

Kyle is an Entrepreneur focused on bringing new products to market. During his career, Kyle has served as CEO, CTO, and managing partner of startup organizations, successfully starting from an idea to ultimately scaling the business. His unique ability to focus efforts on key value-propositions of the concept and product and align with consumer needs has allowed him to bring the right technology team to the table for rapid scaling and growth. Kyle is passionate about building systems to help people -- and is happiest when working to solve challenges at the intersection of engineering and product. Kyle is a startup coach, a mentor with Galvanize, Techstars, University of Colorado (CU) New Venture Challenge, and Catalyze. Kyle is on the advisory board to CU Boulder ATLAS Institute.

Lance Luria, MD, FACP, ABOIM

Chief Medical Officer

Worked for 25 years in the healthcare industry serving as Chief Medical Officer for one of the nations top integrated health systems. In that role, he led innovative integrative medicine programs that demonstrated first hand how complementary medicine providers can positively influence the cost of healthcare while improving outcomes for the patients. Dr. Luria has written extensively on both Health and Wellness and Integrative Medicine. He also authored two chapters in the textbook, Integrative Pain Management, as well as articles for the American Academy of Pain Management’s publication, The Pain Practitioner. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and a Fellow of the American College of Physicians. Having completed a fellowship at the Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine, Dr. Luria achieved board certification in Integrative Medicine. He served on the Board of Directors of the American Board of Integrative Medicine for 8 years and is currently a board member of the American Board of Physician Specialties.

Helena McKinney Bozorg, MD

Senior Clinical Consultant

Practiced for 13 years in value-based medicine as a Hospitalist and Medical Director. During this time, Dr. McKinney’s hospitalist career focused on evidence-based medicine clinical best practices, quality improvements, and transition of care communication which resulted in achieving quality patient care outcome goals. As Medical Director, she supported clinical providers to establish efficient workflows which facilitated seamless communication within a multi-disciplinary team for improved patient care, quality outcomes, and provider satisfaction. Since working as an Independent Medical Director Consultant, Dr. McKinney continues to educate, support, and empower clinicians in value-based medicine and assist healthcare organizations to achieve quality care goals. She has worked with Mr. Knackstedt and Ms. Goldin as a consultant for Value IQ, LLC. Dr. McKinney is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

David Cane, MBA

Senior Business Development Consultant

David Cane has worked in healthcare for over 30 years. His career has focused on building and developing provider networks, building and managing TPAs. He has developed new payment mechanisms to support high-quality care and create managed care risk arrangements designed to achieve the triple aim of better quality and outcomes at lower cost while improving service to patients and providers. David was instrumental in developing and pioneering a market approach to direct contracting with large self-funded employers, including some of the largest national employers in the country. The high-quality provider networks he deployed resulted in significantly lower costs for the employers he supported. During his career, David signed hundreds of direct employer contracts for provider networks. In May 2019, David retired from one of the country's largest, highest-quality health systems. He began consulting with employers and providers nationwide to help them collaborate to improve quality and lower costs. He joined Tellus Wellness in 2021.
